Extra Credit Community Events

Extra Credit for ENG 3115

You may attend any of the events listed below for (optional) extra credit points. The purpose of these opportunities is to encourage involvement in local film events and screenings in Gainesville and the surrounding communities. For each event, you will submit a 1-page (minimum) typed film review and discussion of the event. In it, you should review the film (offering a brief plot synopsis and an evaluative claim that is supported with examples) and describe the event venue or public discussion following the film. Each film review you submit will be worth a maximum of 20 points to be added to your final grade in ENG 2300. You can attend all of the events, of course, but you can receive NO MORE than 80 extra credit points. All extra credit film reviews must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the end of the fall semester.
