Blog Assignments

Blog Assignments
There will be 7 blog assignments total.
The class will be divided into 2 groups.

Group 1 will compose original entries in response to a posted prompt on three designated days: (1/27, 2/10, 3/30) and Group 2 will choose one student's entry to comment on for those days.

Group 2 will compose original entries on: (2/3, 3/23, 4/7) and Group 1 will choose one student's entry to comment upon.

You will be given class time to compose blog entries, thus original Entries MUST be posted by 3:00 pm on the due date and responses MUST be posted by noon the following Sunday.

Every student will compose an original post for the blog #4 assignment on 2/17.

Each blog assignment has been designed to develop composition skills that will be necessary to complete the film analysis essays. Each assignment will integrate elements of the films we screen, class discussions, and reading materials. On blogging days (see syllabus for dates), we will not meet for class but you must meet the posting deadline to be counted present for the class period. The purpose of individual blogs is two-fold: (1) to give you the opportunity to engage in an on-going conversation with yourself and your fellow students, and (2) to practice writing about film on a regular basis.

*Blog Assignments will be posted on the Home Page.
